Are you using Lenovo Docking Station & Laptop and laptop is able to charge VIA Type-C cable but not able to project laptop screen to monitor?
Affected Model
Laptop – Lenovo T14 Gen 2 and Lenovo Yoga 14ARB7
Docking Station – Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock / Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock Gen 2 / Lenovo ThinkPad Universal USB-C Dock
Follow below steps to perform Energy Drainage.
Step 1: Shut Down your Lenovo T14 Gen 2.
Step 2: Unplug all cables that are currently connected to your laptop.
Step 3: Press and Hold on your Laptop “ON” button for 1 whole minute and nothing less.
* Your laptop will attempt to boot up, you will just need to ignored it as the laptop will turn off by itself.
Step 4: Release your “ON” button once the 1 minute is up.
Step 5: Press on Laptop “ON” button to turn on.
Step 6: Login into your windows profile.
Step 7: Once your profile is fully load, first connect your Type-C cable from your Docking station to your laptop and follow by the rest of the cables (If Any).
Your laptop should now be able to conduct both charging and projecting.
